Lea Auerbach Rosenberg

Lea Rosenberg, nee Auerbach.

Lea was the daughter of Bertha Datnowsky and Israel Auerbach. She was born in Berlin on November 10, 1906.

In 1914, Lea and her mother went to Germany on vacation. The war then broke out. Because it was now impossible to travel, she was separated from her father Israel who had remained in Constantinople for the entire duration of the war.

Jerusalem, Haifa

Lea was married to Ernst Rosenberg. They left Germany and came to Paris (or Sèvres ?) in December 1933. They then emigrated to Palestine in 1934, residing first in Jerusalem, then in Haifa-Carmel.
